The advent of AirBnB, Uber, Task Rabbit and such services have given us the ability to find quality, home-like accommodations any where we travel, get a private car wherever we might be, and get someone to do anything from skilled to remedial tasks for us. These types of marketplaces keep sprouting everywhere you look. And the simple premise for them is that there is a demand for a service, and there is certainly supply on the other side. The platforms mentioned above allow transactions between the two sides, within a secure, trusted setting, so both consumers and suppliers feel safe, not having to worry about fraud.<\/p>\n

But none of the above services are nearly as \u201ctrust\u201d sensitive as getting a babysitter for your children. Indeed, while getting an Uber taxi puts you in the same car as a stranger about whom you know almost nothing, it is still not as daunting as having a babysitter you hardly know, watch your child while you are out for dinner with friends, or celebrating that special occasion. This is where KidSitter comes in. We understand, from experience, how hard it is for parents to find babysitters they can trust. Which is why, as parents, the first thing we tend to do when looking for a babysitter is to ask our family, friends and friends of friends, to see if they have someone that they can recommend. But what are the odds that the babysitter you have been recommended by a friend is actually local to you and available when you need them?<\/p>\n

KidSitter was born out of this very need. We sought out highly rated babysitters, that came recommended to us by parents. We then conducted face to face interviews with each of our sitters, ran thorough background and reference checks. We also hired a full-time childcare provider to conduct these interviews because we wanted to be absolutely sure that every one of the babysitters we have at KidSitter are one hundred percent trustworthy. Each of the sitters we selected had to also have a paediatric first aid training and certificate. We wanted to be sure that each babysitter would be someone we would actually trust our own kids with. So, parents can trust the KidSitter brand knowing that we have done our due diligence to give you that peace of mind.<\/p>\n
