Leave a Note for the Babysitter
You are getting ready to leave. The babysitter should arrive any minute, but instead of relaxing, you are a little anxious about leaving your child with the babysitter. After all, you have never met this babysitter before. She was either referred to you by a friend, or perhaps you booked a trusted babysitter through KidSitter. You know what she looks like and that she is qualified, but how do you communicate everything that she needs to know before you dash out?
Relax, all is not lost. Most babysitters know exactly what needs to be done when they arrive. But to get extra peace of mind, always allow enough time between the babysitters arrival and when you have to leave. Typically, 30 minutes is recommended. Even then, perhaps you are getting ready and running late, and 30 minutes might not be enough. So what do you do?
Here is a handy checklist you can print, fill out and stick on to the refrigerator. Then all you need to do is point the babysitter over to the fridge. Click on the picture below to open it in a separate tab from where you can easily download or print.
