Hello, I have a long history of work and interest in childcare and education. I also have the experience of my own two children, who are now grown up. I have lived and worked in London for over 30 years and am originally from rural Scotland. I am patient, calm, caring and confident.
I am currently in full time employment as Deputy Manager of a Nursery run by London Borough of Camden. My employment there began in 1990 and over the 25 years of service I have held different roles as my career progressed. I began as a Nursery Officer, then Third in Charge and have been Deputy Manager for 18 years. Previously I worked for other Local Authorities and in Nanny jobs.
The wide range of experience I have includes;
A significant part of my role is being the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co- ordinator) in the Nursery. This involves working in partnership with parents, colleagues in the Nursery and professionals from other agencies, such as Speech and Language Therapists, supporting children to work towards their targets.
I have known Lucie since 1990 when she became an employee of the London borough of Camden. Lucie has demonstrated through her practice, character and attitude, her commitment, reliability and integrity.
"Fantastic, really lovely lady who I felt very comfortable leaving my children with. Lucie was very professional and clearly very experienced. I would highly recommend her!"
