Shahad A

I have known her for many years we both worked together in the Exams department. Her duties included invigilating and facilitating support for students of different backgrounds and accessibility needs such as scribes, reader and one on one invigilating. She took her roles extremely seriously and was thorough with safeguarding, student safety and care was her top priority and wanted to ensure all students had an equal and fair chance at exams. Her engagement with students was one of a kind, she is extremely supportive and builds strong relationships with the students by getting to know them on a deeper level which allows them to excel academically due to them feeling comfortable, safe and heard. Since I’ve known her, she has such a comforting and caring aura, it makes me feel relaxed and I can always rely on her to allow me to see the world in a positive light. I’ve always seen the way she interacts with children and I’ve never seen someone so suited for a role. She has a deep understanding for how different we must interact and approach children and she does it better than anyone else I’ve ever known. I would recommend Shahad as a childcarer within a heart beat because I know she would consistently make sure the children are safe, comfortable and entertained. Shahad has such a calming and nurturing aura, children and parents would feel safe around her. In addition, she is emotionally steady, which provides a secure environment for kids to regulate their own feelings as well as her being trained in child development and educational activities.

I’ve known Shahad for about 2 years now and met through her placement at Harris Academy. Duties shahad carried out exceptionally was managing her classrooms by creating a safe and positive environment and designing and delivering clear structured lessons for her students. Shahad formed a supportive, calm and responsive classroom culture, making students feel safe, engaged, confident and curious in her lessons. Shahad has a warm, affable and trustworthy character and I would recommend her to families requiring babysitting.
