About me
I have extensive professional experience caring for and safeguarding children in theatre, film and television. Since 2023, I have worked as a licensed chaperone on major productions including Miss Saigon, Kinky Boots, The King and I and Harry Potter. I have held senior positions such as Head Chaperone, Travel Chaperone and Deputy Head Chaperone, which have required me to be organised, dependable and attentive to each child’s individual needs.
I also work as an Ofsted registered childminding assistant and have experience supporting children in a home based setting. I am fully trained in paediatric first aid, hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, and am a certified Safeguarding Lead.

We absolutely love Faye and would recommend her for any work involving children. We know Faye, as she was the Head Chaperone, during the Miss Saigon tour. My 6-year-old daughter performed during the tour of Miss Saigon and whilst on tour she was supervised by Faye. During the tour, Faye performed safeguarding duties whilst she was under her care. This involved ensuring all safeguarding rules were enforced, provide general care and fun activities to keep a 6yr old entertained. The tour was our child's introduction into professional acting and as a family we were hesitant as we were not sure what to expect. After several meetings with Faye during the tour we were reassured that our child was in safe hands. Our daughter always raved about Faye and she always kept us up to date with activities throughout the day. Faye is an excellent communicator and she is extremely organised I observed this from her weekly timetables that she would organise for all 8 children on tour. Which I always thought was challenging however Faye seemed to do this with ease. She is very caring and she puts the children's safety first. I observed this on several encounters after shows whereby the public would ask my daughter for a autograph and Faye would speak with the requesting party and enforce the necessary rules to ensure our daughter was safe at all times. I would describe Faye as positive, warm, friendly, very welly organised and an excellent communicator and I would 100% recommend her for any work with children.
I have known Faye since February 2026 and she was my son’s head chaperone for the musical show Miss Saigon which was a UK & Ireland tour which finished this August 2026. My son is 6 years old and he was in her care during the rehearsals and performances of the show. Duties included providing food, activities and ensuring his safety and safeguarding. My son engaged with her on a 2-1 basis as there was another child in her care, every other week as there were multiple teams of children in the show, depending on the schedule it would be from 4-9 hours at a time. Faye is a friendly, wonderful and kind person, very engaging with our son and kept us informed of his progress or any issues and she was very prompt in communicating. Her performance was 100% always reliable and I had no complaints or concerns leaving our son in her care. I would highly recommend her for babysitting other families.
