About me
I currently work full time in a school as a teachers assistant. I am very bubbly, outgoing, friendly, professional and reliable. I'm very interested in helping out parents who would need a babysitter in the evenings or weekends. I have a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Development, I have worked within a childcare setting for 8 years and I have experience working with children from the ages from newborn-11 years old. I'm trained in First Aid, Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity amongst other things. Whilst working in a nursery I had supported parents who would need a babysitter a few evenings a week and some weekends if needed. So I will be willing to provide references not only from a setting but also parents whose children I cared for. I am also able to effectively plan for children, guided by the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and ECM (Every Child Matters) framework - meaning your child's development will be considered when caring for them.

Lavina was great. She was referred to us by our babysitter when our babysitter was not available. We have had some contact with her through the nursery and she was very reliable. She really helped me a great deal. She is very calm, nice, relaxed and not hyper; the children respond to the environment they are in and they were quite calm with her. She did school reading, homework, arts and crafts and interactive activities. I am very strict on the children's bedtime and she was able to do it perfectly.
Lavina is quite, loving and gentle. I did use her occassionally and she was very affectionate. She read to the kids, played games and kept them involved. She is very patient and sweet. She has a great amount of experience with children and you can definitely see that by her behviour and how she interacts with the child.
