About me

My work moto has always been to give the best I can in any situation. I found that after being a parent myself, I needed to upskill myself so I can better support him. Being in school for over a decade has given me many skills and insights. I can confidently communicate with children of different ages and needs, manage their behaviour, support their emotional and physical need. I also understand that children are vulnerable and need extra care, love and attention. I enjoy being around children.

I've worked with her in a local primary school. She is a Learning Support Assistant and a Teacher's Assistant. Rashida supports the teacher in the classroom, does extra planning for group sessions, and conducts booster interventions for children who need extra help one-to-one. She also has play-ground duty and lunch duty as she is first-aid trained. Also, she interacts with parents and acts as a liaison between parents and the school. She provides feedback and recommendations on groups with regards to what works well and what doesn't. She is brilliant and everyone wants to work with her. She is very professional, takes initiative, very positive, a quick learner, always punctual and committed, I can't remember a day when she called in sick or not turned up. She would be an excellent babysitter.

She works for my non-profit organisation on Saturdays teaching children ages 5 and up. This includes groups as well as 1 to 1 teaching for children with special education and needs (SEN). She is polite, friendly, active, punctual and is the main lead of the teaching centre. She has good communication skills, friendly and understand children well. She has a great impact on the children's lives and has been with us for 10 years, often coming up with strategies and resources to work with and engage children.
