I have known both professionally through her work as a Nursery Nurse in St Michael's Primary School and personally, as she has also cared for my own children through babysitting. In her professional role, Carina has demonstrated a genuine commitment to the care, education and development of young children. She has a warm and positive approach and is particularly skilled at creating fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities that children enjoy while also supporting their learning and development. She understands that high-quality early years provision is about much more than simply supervising children. She is able to provide purposeful educational activities and experiences which encourage children to explore, communicate, develop their independence and build their confidence. She has a good understanding of the responsibilities involved in working within an early years environment, including the importance of safeguarding, appropriate supervision, relevant legislation and statutory staff-to-child ratios. On a personal level, I have trusted Carina to babysit and care for my own children. This is perhaps one of the strongest recommendations I can give. I have always found her to be honest, trustworthy, dependable and responsible. She takes the responsibility of caring for children seriously while maintaining a friendly, nurturing and enjoyable environment for them. Carina builds positive relationships with children and has the ability to combine care and nurture with appropriate boundaries and expectations. Her experience within a primary school nursery, together with her practical understanding of children’s needs, makes her well suited to roles involving the care and education of young children. I have known Carina for 3 Years she worked for me for over a year as a after school nanny, she picked up my children from school and looking after them until I returned from work. My children were one and four years old, Carina's duties included nursery and school pick up, making dinner, personal care for my children, playing with them and doing after school activities and homework, getting them ready and settled for bed and many more. Carina was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to have working with us. She has a very bubbly, friendly and positive personality, which made her instantly approachable and easy to get along with. Carina was enthusiastic, caring and always brought positive energy with her. She was able to build a lovely relationship with my children and made them feel comfortable and at ease. Carina has such a fun bubbly character, always willing to help out and meet each child's needs, she was always very punctual and my children warmed to her straight away, her attention to details she was patient and engaging and her ability to handle change is amazing, she went over and beyond for us as a family and we really miss her working for us. I found Carina to be reliable, professional and genuinely passionate about working with children.
