Emma helped us for two years, at various times as a live-in nanny, daily/occasional nanny and holiday nanny. During those times she cared for our son, and we saw her interact not only with him but also with his friends on playdates, etc. Emma is a happy person and great fun to be with. She is sporty and has apparently boundless energy and enthusiasm. She has initiative and resourcefulness and is full of ideas for entertaining children. She is bright and intelligent and so an interesting and entertaining companion and able homework buddy. She has a strong personality to inspire respect but is also very warm, kind and loving. She has honesty and integrity which children appreciate and which sets them a good example. She is patient, calm and unflappable . She is punctual, reliable and trustworthy and makes children (and their parents!) feel secure . We have trusted Emma to care for our son, not only at home with us, but also at home whilst we have been away, and abroad on family holidays. She has taken him on daily excursions all over London and elsewhere by car and on public transport, and she has travelled with him on planes without us.

Emma has watched and stayed overnight to mind our two children (when they were ages 8-10 and 9-11) on several occasions. We felt very confident in leaving our children with Emma as soon as she arrived at our house, so we only briefly observed her interaction with the children, but the children had only positive things to say about he. Emma is very mature and has had a great deal of experience working with children.
