About me
Having worked in a primary school in recent years and qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) this summer I truly understand the importance of treating children as individuals and providing a fun and safe environment. I demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and I am able to prepare a variety of healthy meals and snacks. I am able to build a strong rapport with children and parents; importance skills needed for trusting relationships. Being a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist I have in-depth knowledge of communication and play based activities and how these elements can support a child’s development. I have a positive, energetic personality that enables me to be imaginative when planning individual activities suited to the child’s needs. I demonstrate a compassionate, patient and calm manner that enables me to thrive when working with children.

Caitlin has a very warm, caring, friendly and condenser character as well as displaying a professional attitude at all times. Caitlin engaged with my daughter really well, taking her to the park and interacting through play, as well as learning through play by playing board games and explaining how things worked. I have absolutely no concerns with the care and support Caitlin provided, she has such a kind, considerate and patient nature as well as a lovely warm character, I would trust her 100% in any situation. A real pleasure to have her company.
Caitlin completed a placement working as a student Speech and Language Therapist in east London. She worked with children in schools, both 1:1 and in groups of up to 3. Caitlin is friendly and approachable. She proved herself to be a competent clinician during her time with us. She has excellent communication skills and was equally confident in her interactions with parents and children. Caitlin established a lovely rapport with the children that she worked with, and was able to create a safe, fun and trusting environment which enabled the children to achieve the targets of their language interventions. Caitlin worked as a student speech and language therapist, carrying out assessments and interventions. This included direct language work and observations in classrooms, as well as running groups, playing games, and working with teachers and parents.
