Birgit was our after-school nanny for our 2 boys. She would pick up the children from school, take them to after-school activities, bring them home, help them with homework, cook for them and do some tidying up and light house-work. She was very organised. She would bring games to play, books to read with them, and engaged them in different ways. She is a gem - always on time and well-prepared. She was very observant and would take her carer role very seriously. She was pro-active, would even have her own recipes, would be on top of what's good for them, and how to keep them safe. She is very clear and direct in her communication, which I quite liked. She is brilliant and I can highly recommend her.

Birgit was referred to us by another sitter for when we needed someone regularly for our one-year old. First of all she is very responsible. She is never late, and has lots of experience. Her approach towards kids is phenomenal and our son loves her. There is a real bond between him and her. She knows how to speak to him and brings different activities to do with him and knows how to entertain him. She is also very trustworthy. I can tell because when she is around, I never worry and feel very calm. So these three things - experience, responsibility and very good approach - are what make her so great. She goes out of her way, above and beyond what is expected. Every time we need a sitter, we still call on Birgit. I definitely recommend her. 100%!

Birgit looked after our son as a part-time nanny from the time he was 6 months for about 2 years. We wanted our son to be exposed to German, and she did this by speaking to him, singing to him and reading to him. She would also cook, take him out to the play ground, and do activities with him. She was always punctual and was quite flexible if we needed her beyond her regular hours on an ad-hoc basis. She was very calm and was great with him when he had tantrums. The rapport our son built with her was very strong. So much so that he would ask for her long after she finished her engagement with us. We absolutely recommend her for babysitting and for anyone looking for a nanny. In fact, whenever we think of getting a sitter now, she is the one we think of.
