About me
I'm currently a nursery nurse for a Bright Horizons nursery. Growing up having a childminder as a mother with 28 years experience on her belt meant I would always be in interaction with children. I began babysitting as a teenager & have continued to work with children through working as a childminder's assistant to doing voluntary youth work, I'm now currently studying to become an ofsted registered childminder. There is a joy that working with children brings me that couldn't be replaced with any other career. Children are wonderful gifts to families & working with them is the most rewarding & fulfilling job there ever could be for me. I find it easy to connect with children. It usually doesn't take too long for children to open up to me. I enjoy reading stories, arts & crafts & any games that encourages children to learn, grow & express themselves... & I'm no way afraid of messy play!

Shanice has looked after many children of different age ranges. She is very reliable, loyal, punctual, trustworthy, pleasant, friendly, and easy to get on with. She used to take the kids on trips to the parks and museums. She also used to keep the them busy with stories and creative activities such as drawing, role playing, singing and dancing. I had no concerns at all with Shanice.
Shanice is very funny, bubbly and caring. She is a very hard-working sitter, always willing and determined to help others. Shanice has repeatedly taken the kids to museums, libraries and parks. She also gets them to read and plays games such as spelling games where they would win treats for correct answers. She was such a great sitter I could not of asked for more and the kids love her.
