About me
I have 14 years of experience working for multiple private families and as a child Educator at a UK register charity for 10 years. I also have experience teaching Spanish to children in primary schools for more than 2 years. In all these years one of my greatest aim has been to make each child have a fantastic time whiles babysitting them. Learning a different language, learning their abilities with art and craft, little cooking and bakery tips (following health & safety procedures at all times). I believe each child is unique, with abilities and capacities, which many times they don't know about. I aim to help them to discover a bit more of their uniqueness. I believe parents would like to be at peace knowing that the person that is looking after their children is trustworthy, caring, loving, responsible and would be adding to their children lives and education, and that's what I am about. I would be happy to assist them with general childcare duties, organising their children schedules and activities, helping with homework and transporting (when needed).

Carmen looks after my little son. She is a very caring, trustworthy, efficient and responsible person. For example, she always picks up and drops off my son at school on time. Also, she always makes sure my son is well fed and entertained when I am not around. My son and Carmen would do various activities together such as word games and puzzles. Carmen looked after my daughter for a while and I can only say good things about her. She is kind, caring and enjoys doing activities with children. She used to help her with her homework, go to the park together and do all types of arts and crafts activities. Not only this, but she also used to teach her Spanish. One small comment is that it would have been great if she had encouraged the kids to tidy their playroom before bed - always appreciated as a parent to come home to a tidy house! Olson is 14 months and we hadn’t left him alone with a ‘stranger’ before, and he is definitely prone to separation anxiety. However, Carmen managed to keep Olson distracted and playing for most of her time with him. She stayed with him and kept an eye on him while he napped. Carmen is caring, kind and attentive. We would definitely try her again. Perhaps She was a little late, but was happy to make up the time at the end of the shift. "
