I enjoy working with kids and looking after them. I am trustworthy, honest, reliable and amicable. I have been doing voluntary teaching in Sunday School for 12 years and help out in the hospitality team at my local church. I have been employed as a full time Teachers Assistant since 2012 and have been in contact with children from every walk of life, some with behaviour difficulties and others with health problems. I tend to have a good rapport with kids and they respond quite positively with me.

Barbara took care of my son from age 6 until he was 12. She still looks after him from time to time especially when my husband and I need to travel out of town. She's become part of the family. She's reliable, responsible and very caring. I never had a reason to complain. She always made my son feel well at home. When he was being watched at her home, everything was kept tidy and she always made sure he was fed and his homework done before we came to pick him up. . She has three kids in the same age range as my son and encouraged them to do their home learning together. They also went swimming during holidays and outdoor activities. There were also bike rides in the park, the kids took turns taking care of the pet guinea pig, which taught them to be caring and learn to take responsibility. I relied a lot of her for last minute and late nights at work; when we came he had already taken a bath, brushed his teeth and changed into his pjs. She is always so kind.
Barbara looked after one child for me but had other children in her care. She is dependable, reliable, caring and compassionate. My child was very comfortable around her. I liked that she is very knowledgeable about issues concerning children. Barbara helped with homework, reading and played games. She is adaptable, flexible and very safety conscious.
