About me
I work in a challenging environment with some children who have behaviour and special Ed needs from all different backgrounds and all walks of life. I have been working with children and young people for 26 years now and I still consider myself as young and fit. I was previously a Special Guardian to my nephew for 6 years from the age of 10 months old. I would be a great carer for your child/ren as I believe I have a lot to offer.
Leonna has 17 years experience in childcare. She has worked as a teaching assistant, play worker and a learning mentor. She has worked in challenging environment with some children who have behaviour and special Ed needs from all different backgrounds and all walks of life. Leonna looked after 3 kids. She is reliable trustworthy and I have always been happy to leave the boys with her. She's good at recognising potential problems and solving them herself as well as I love her ability to be patient. She can get the boys out of a tantrum and sympathetic without having to dismiss them. The would do park activities, play doh, stories, drawings/colouring, days out, movie nights (in), building with lego or magnates, and taking them to soft play or museums.
She looked after 4 kids. She was patient with them. My eldest is 14 and the youngest is 4 and she's looked after them for 14 years. She is amazing! Shes' on time, trustworthy, creative, understanding and I am hoping she'll look after my next child. She is able to handle all 4 children according to their age range. My eldest and her have a great relationship and maintain great communication. She takes them out, they do a lot of art work, arts and crafts, cooking. She keeps them entertained while looking after them. I would recommend her in a heart beat.

She handled nap, food prep, bath time, sibling quarrels, and a scraped knee with no problem! All while keeping everything tidy and in order. It was a pleasure working with her and I would be very happy to have her babysit for us again.”
