About me

I have over 25 years of experience with children. I was born in Paris and grew up in Venice. I speak 3 languages. I tutor in Italian and French, and English and Maths (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). I am able to deal with children with challenging behaviours. I am currently working as LSA in a primary school. I have two children, one of whom autistic. I gave up my 20-year career in fashion to look after my autistic son. I have a deep understanding gained through personal experience raising my autistic son, and a professional background as a 1:1 support for a 5 year old child. I am well-travelled; I’ve been to Australia Japan Malaysia Thailand Sri Lanka India Egypt USA Mexico Caribbean Russia and all over Europe. I attended courses and workshops about autism, please see some of the courses I have attended (in the box below).

References for Carla

Carla I've known for the last eight years. Initially, our kids knew each other and then she looked after my daughters. She's very good - she knows what she's doing, she is always prepared and never goes into a situation without knowing what she's going to do. She's so organised, and when she applies her plan to the children, she's amazing. She's looked after them from eight years old, and did activities like art, homework, (French) language, take them to museums and cinema etc,, based on what the child would like. I would recommend her to everyone - she is amazing.
Betty B
I have known Carla for eight years. She has taken care of my kids, from the age of 1 year old. Carla is a very organised, punctual person. I am always late, but she is not. She is herself a very caring mum and highly responsible. She's always very helpful, participating in events and a good communicator with kids (as my child is autistic). I look up to her as a mother and a role model. Her organisation from her career has transferred into her professionalism as a carer,
