Samantha has cared for my 7 year old daughter on many occasions , both during the day and in the evening. I have also worked with Samantha in a school as a fellow TA. Initially my daughter was very shy and apprehensive when meeting Samantha and was not willing to be baby sat for. Samantha had brought with her a card game and encouraged my daughter to join in , which had my daughter feeling secure and at ease. Which show initiative in building a trusting relationship. Samantha is very interactive with my child , playing games and joining in role play. building a trusting relationship. My daughter looks forward to her company and her favour activity with Samantha is painting, playing connect 4 and baking. Samantha is excellent at identifying the child's interests and communicating at their individual level. For example while working with Samantha , I observed her working with a child with autism with speech and language difficulties. She was playing a matching game, which was educational but the child was excited and was having a lot of fun I occasionally have Samantha care for my child which may be during the evening or day.

Sam was on work placement with me as part of her NVQ3 on her baby placement. She took care of every aspect of his care routines, and played and stimulated him to develop him in all aspects. I then employed her at my preschool as bank staff while she completed her course, and fulfilled all roles well too. San has good knowledge of children's learning and development and is able to plan activities to cover all areas of the EYFS. Sam works well in a team, and is approachable to children and parents. She is timely, confidence, enthusiastic and has a passion for childcare. She often babysits for my four children aged 0-10, and have no concerns.
